A long time ago I told my mother to paint the spare bedroom orange. Orange is my favorite color. But as my circumstance has changed, I find myself removed from my bedroom in my parents house and relocated to the orange spare room. I recognize now that asking my mother to paint the room orange was a bad idea.
Last night a friend and I played the "would you rather game." I chose being able to read minds over being able to see the future. I said, " I don't want to know the future."
I've already changed my mind. I don't want to know what people are thinking as much I want to know if the things I am spending my time on are a waste of time or if they're worthwhile.
Here are a few things I wish I could have known more about prior to wasting loads of time on them:
- The aforementioned orange spare bedroom.
- Moving home for the 4th time.
- Learning to work in Borders Bookstore and then finding out that I'll be working in the life sucking and incredibly dull Kiosk by Hollister.
- Countless romantic endeavors.
- This whole moving to New York City thing I'm so into right now.
- College.
- Photographic equipment.
- Countless romantic endeavors.
Some antonyms of "unfortunate" are:
- Happy
- Lucky
- Good
- Timely
Oh to be lucky...

Moving to New York City is NEVER a waste of time.
moving to NYC might help with your whole photography career, I mean, seriously. Although moving itself sucks especially the 4th time.
Having a job is always better than not having one, when you need money. and the camera stuff? DON'T worry too much about it, you got me here to find solutions.
